The 1924 Big Bank Robbery Melodrama

Even after 100 years it’s still an impactful moment in our towns history. In 1924 The First State Bank in Old Town Clovis was robbed by “The Lone Wolf”, Felix Sloper, and “The Owl”, Thomas Griffin. On February 24th, 2024, the Clovis-Big Creek Historical Society are putting together a melodrama based on the event that happened so many years ago.
